Pergine Valdarno is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Arezzo in the Italian region Tuscany, located about southeast of Florence and about west of Arezzo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,157 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Pergine Valdarno contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Montalto, Ponticino, Poggio Bagnoli, and Pieve a Presciano.
